"1. Make sure you research local medical facilities and find one you are comfortable with, as this will reduce anxiety during labor and delivery. 2. Check to see if the medical facility offers any classes in English or Chinese that can help prepare you for childbirth. 3. Connect with other expat parents in Guangzhou, as they may be able to provide helpful advice on any issues you encounter. 4. Familiarize yourself with the local cultural norms for newborns, as this will help you feel more at ease during the early days of parenting. 5. Take advantage of the resources available to expat parents in Guangzhou, such as support groups, meet-up groups, and blogs. 6. Make sure to plan ahead on any paperwork associated with having a baby in Guangzhou, as this will save you time and make the process smoother," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Guangzhou, China, China.
