"Melbourne offers a range of high-quality public and private healthcare services for its residents. Public services are provided free of charge, and include primary care, outpatient care, and specialty outpatient clinics. Private healthcare is also available, with a variety of options for those who choose to pay for their medical services. Some of these may include general practitioner and family doctor services, specialist care, private hospitals and health fund coverage. Additionally, there is a growing number of alternative health care providers in the city, who offer complementary therapies such as massage and acupuncture.
