What are healthcare services like in Mykonos?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Mykonos. They wrote...

"Healthcare services in Mykonos are generally of a high standard. The island has a local health center, which is equipped to handle minor emergencies and health issues. For more serious conditions, patients are typically transported to larger hospitals in Athens. There are also several private clinics and pharmacies on the island that provide medical services. English-speaking doctors and medical staff are common, making it easier for tourists to communicate their health issues. However, it's recommended for visitors to have travel insurance as healthcare can be expensive. Dental services are also available in Mykonos. Despite the island's small size, it is well-prepared to handle a variety of health concerns," remarked another expat who made the move to Mykonos, Greece.
