"Paros is a beautiful and popular Greek island. Before retiring in Paros, it is important to consider the local cost of living, especially for food and housing, as well as your preferred lifestyle and any necessary medical care. Research potential locations in Paros and the options for long-term housing. Understand the local infrastructure, such as transportation, access to shops and services, and available amenities. Get to know the people and culture in the area, as well as the local laws and regulations. Consider your financial situation and whether any pension or tax provisions need to be taken into account. Be aware of any safety concerns and the availability of medical services. Finally, ensure that you have adequate insurance cover should anything go wrong," said one expat who made the move to Paros.
