Some reusable containers, dishes and cutlery can come in handy in order to store food and cooking ingredients. A water filter can also be a great addition, especially if you don't want to keep buying bottled water. Noise-cancelling headphones and any device chargers can also be helpful in a city as busy as Dongguang. Finally, it is a good idea to carry a first-aid kit, as well as any medication you may need that isn't available in Dongguang," explained one expat living in Dongguang, China, China.
