When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Brit. Virgin Isl., they said...

"Before moving to the British Virgin Islands, expats should be aware that the official language is English, and that the currency is the US Dollar. Expats should also be aware that the climate is tropical, with temperatures ranging from 24-32 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Additionally, expats should be aware that the cost of living is relatively high, and that the islands are prone to hurricanes during the summer months. Finally, expats should be aware that the islands are home to a diverse range of cultures, and that the local population is friendly and welcoming," explained one expat living in Brit. Virgin Isl..
