What do people like (and dislike) about Russia?
When we asked expats and global nomads what they like and dislike about living in Russia, they replied...
"Expats and digital nomads often appreciate the low cost of living in Russia, as well as the vibrant culture and rich history. They also enjoy the country's diverse landscapes, from the snow-capped mountains of the Caucasus to the steppes of Siberia. On the other hand, some expats and digital nomads find the language barrier and bureaucracy to be challenging. Additionally, the winter weather can be difficult to adjust to for those who are not used to it," remarked another expat in Russia.
"I have lives here for 4 years in the same rented apartment. Stores restaurants are within walking distance. There is a train station connecting Moscow to Belarus. Transportation is inexpensive and reliable. People are friendly for the most part. There are no real dislikes about the city or area," said a member in Safonovo, Russia.
