"Foreigners are allowed to own property in Uzbekistan, but there are certain restrictions in place. Foreigners are not allowed to own land, but they can own buildings and other types of real estate. Foreigners must obtain a special permit from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to purchase real estate in Uzbekistan. Additionally, foreign companies are allowed to own property in Uzbekistan, but they must register with the Ministry of Justice and obtain a special license," wrote a member who made the move to Uzbekistan.
