Thai Canuck

A few years ago, Steve moved from small-town Canada to a city of 10 million in the interior of China. He proceeded to spend the last six years of his mathematics and chemistry teaching career at a large international school in Wuhan.

In 2013, after 30 years of teaching in Canada, Scotland and China, it was time to retire. Given the choice of returning to the frozen north of Canada or staying in warm, inexpensive, tropical Southeast Asia, Steve and his wife, Nancy, chose the latter. They now live in Chiangmai, Thailand.

Steve shares his photos, stories and reflections about life in their new country. When not in the real world, you will find him designing and building in one of many virtual worlds!
