We are a Scottish/Ecuadorian couple living in Cuenca, Ecuador with our two young children. We met back in 2003 when I walked into Fabian’s tour agency to book a tour to climb Cotopaxi Volcano – the rest is history, as they say (and yes, I made it to the summit – 5,897m!). We have been living in Ecuador for several years – previously in the Valle de los Chillos, Quito, and more recently in the beautiful city of Cuenca in the south of Ecuador. We love to travel as a family and have spent many memorable holidays all over the four regions of this amazing country (Coast, Sierra, Amazon and Galapagos Islands). We’d like to share our knowledge and love of Ecuador with all of you here.
