EcuadorUncovered

We are Scottish-Ecuadorian family living in Cuenca - follow our travels, posts on living in Ecuador as well as it's food and culture.

Web Site:

We are a Scottish/Ecuadorian couple living in Cuenca, Ecuador with our two young children. We met back in 2003 when I walked into Fabian’s tour agency to book a tour to climb Cotopaxi Volcano – the rest is history, as they say (and yes, I made it to the summit – 5,897m!). We have been living in Ecuador for several years – previously in the Valle de los Chillos, Quito, and more recently in the beautiful city of Cuenca in the south of Ecuador. We love to travel as a family and have spent many memorable holidays all over the four regions of this amazing country (Coast, Sierra, Amazon and Galapagos Islands). We’d like to share our knowledge and love of Ecuador with all of you here. Whether you considering a well-deserved vacation to somewhere off the beaten track, or you are looking at Ecuador as a possibility for your permanent residence, we can help. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please feel free to reach out to us! We have lots of great content on its way for you all! Enjoy!
