Offtomexicowego AKA: Our Mexican Adventure

A blog which goes over the trial and tribulations we have had in moving from Florida to Merida, Mexico.

Web Site:

In October 2016 my husband and I decided to look for a better quality of life. I was working 9 1/2 hours a day and we only had a few hours together a day. After much research, we thought that Belize would be a great place to "retire" to and went to Belize in May 2017. After finding out that Belize was not the place for us, we traveled up into Mexico and fell in love with Playa del Carmen. We decided there and then that we would move to Playa and we were hoping to return December 2017 upon moving there. Well, after more trials and tribulations, we decided not to move to Playa del Carmen and instead moved to Merida, Yucatan in October 2017. We have now been here 7 months and we absolutely love it here and love all of our quality time together!!
