Where to buy a house in the Bahamas?

Hello,

I am French, I'm sorry for my English.

I need your advice, I come back from the Bahamas and I am determined to buy a house to live a few months in the year.

I stopped my choice on two islands - Grand Bahama and New Providence.

I would like to know what are the best districts to buy a house (Safe, clean beach, less exposed to hurricanes and not too far from downtown) and what the island is more pleasant to live with now and in future projects.

It is difficult to get an objective opinion with real estate agencies.

Also, I saw beautiful beach front home in Goodman's Bay, what do you think of this place? With the construction of the Baha Mar resort, this district will be taken of the value or the opposite?
