Having a baby in Guatemala

I know this topic has been answered but I need a little more info so I'm a US citizen my husband is a Guatemalan citizen my children have dual citizen ship they were born in the USA. I am currently pregnant and would like this baby born here in Guatemala. I know once baby is born I go to the US embassy here and file for us citizen born abroad my question is do they issue a US birth certificate? Is the process difficult and long? I also read you can just go Fila for a us passport for the baby but how if the baby has a Guatemalan birth certificate. Will there be issues later down the line when my child is 18. Will they always have there US citizenship. I know my other children that were born in the USA have a natural born US birth certificate and a Guatemalan one that's says they were born in the USA. I want to make sure my child born here in Guatemala will have the same opportunities and privileges of my US born children and never loose them.
Thank you
