Colegio Bolivar is a great school. It's accredited by the Southern Assoc of Colleges and Schools. Facilities are great. Good teachers. Great atmosphere. Best bilingual school in the city. Kids all go to college.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

I've always lived here since my kids were small, but I know that new students are made to feel very welcome.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There's a parent association called ASOPADRES. They are active and do lots of good things for the school.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Your child would be in good hands at this school. No specific advice. There's not a strong Spanish as a second language program at all though, so this would have to be arranged. Most classes are in English although at the HS level there are several teachers who teach in Spanish.
