Additionally, you may need to apply for a residence permit, which will allow you to stay in Mongolia for a longer period of time. You will need to provide proof of your identity, such as a passport, and other documents, such as proof of employment or enrollment in a school,” said one expat living in Mongolia.

The process of applying for a visa involves submitting an application form, a valid passport, a passport-sized photograph, and the applicable visa fee. Depending on the purpose of the visit, additional documents may be required.
