Info about moving to the DR

Hi Everyone,

My name is Blair. I am planning to moving to the Dr, probably the Sosua area in a few years. Can anyone or everyone that receives this give me some tips about moving that I might not be aware of. Would be coming from the US. I am especially interested in what to bring, what to leave behind. I understand that some things might not be as easy to buy in the DR. Could anyone with experience tell me that I would definitely bring with me? I am a medical professional and would love some help with this endeavor. I would be renting first, I think, then buying a home. I am also interested in conversing with anyone that has relocated to Sosua. Thank you so much everyone!
