Hi, I am Tom, currently living in Germany. I will move to the DR in August this year. I intend to stay there, whenever possible.

I am grateful for every help or hint. especially concerning the process to get done the claim for the extension of the visa.
Ambassy in Frankfurt told me, that I have to visit the immigrant authorities in Santo Domingo at my first day there to claim for it.

Has anybody done this? How much days do I have to stay in Santo Domingo to get the claim done?

I ask, because I want to move over to the north of the island as soon as possible.
