Thinking of moving to Chile, tired of rip off UK

Hi, Anyone thinking of moving to La Serena, Chile? I miss that place full of palm trees, beautiful beaches and mountains! Also anyone knows if my 11 year old son will be taught GCSE's and A levels in English at the International School in La Serena or will he be taught in Spanish? I'm a single mum, by the way, and looking for good friends too who can advice me as a good education for him is very important.

Some say I should hang on to UK for another 5 years but living here is a rip off! 'm a very positive person but one can't help noticing that this is real madness... Energy companies rip us off with their ridiculous high bills, building traders charge far too much; decent food is too expensive to buy as people are forced to buy Tesco basics and junk AND the government rip us off not just with their extremely high council tax but other taxes also. Charging for a TV licence (or TV tax) when one hardly watches TV is absolutely crazy too! (If it wasn't for my son's school I would have left this country a long time ago)
