Hi!
You may know that 72% of firefighters in the US are volunteers, however in Chile the number is 100% and we need to raise funds for new equipment.

I'm a volunteer at the 2nd Firehouse of the Villa alemana FD and would like to invite you to donate for our new helmets and boots campaign.

Donations of 10,000 pesos (USD 15) or more will get FREE a 45 minutes immigration consultation with me, now or later when you need it.

You will also help us validating if this webpage works to get donations with an international card.
http://132bomberos.cl/campaña/campaña-económica-2019
132Bomberos.cl is not a secure page, but the payment link will direct you to the one and only online payment system in Chile webpay.
or you can go directly using this link:
https://www.webpay.cl/portalpagodirecto/pages/institucion.jsf?idEstablecimiento=28603367

To chek the equipment we will buy and its cost use this link:

I'd be happy to donate but am not comfortable with entering a credit card number directly (the world of electronic payments is a complicated and sometimes hazardous place). Is there a Paypal option?

that site is not working. Also, what qualifications do you have to be dispensing immigration advice? I'm just curious why you are asking for donations from this site, if it is a local fire dept.

Hi Fredonia

yes 132Bomberos.cl is down for the moment, sadly the cost of raising funds for Bomberos is higher than the actual donations.
We will experiment new versions in the future,

Why Firefighters and Immigration?
because it is linked since the first Fire Department in 1852 by migrants, mainly form the US, England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain as well as Arab countries.

Many firehouses in Chile get important donations from related diaspora and countries. So wanted to experiment on raising funds for our small Firehouse in Villa Alemana.

I'm also the Founder of an NGO that provides free advice for Migrants (in Spanish) we are currently serving more than 4000 people per week using social media with a monthly reach of over 300,000.

We provide more than 50 direct consultations per day, all free thanks to mainly US and european retirees that can pay for a personalized service.

We work focusing on prevention and proper information so migrants don't get a fine or end in court fighting a deportation order, but if that happens, we have a network of probono lawyers to help.

Check @ConsuladoCivico in Facebook.

Best
Walter

Hi Walter -

The Facebook page looks directed to Venezuelans. Do you have another FB Page or website that is not specific to Venezuela as I am not Venezuelan.

Hi, I'm sorry I missed your message, busy inbox.

I lived in Venezuela for 28 years so Venezuelans get free immigration help.

80% or more of that information applies to all migrants.

Best
