We are a family of 5 with 3 school age kids. I have been advised that the $2000 monthly budget (April 2010) I have is not enough for us to rent a house and live comfortably outside of San Jose but still close to amenities. I know prices have increased, is this enough to have the conveniences of internet, cable, etc without having to stress each month about money??
