BRINGING DOG ON FLIGHT TO SAN JOSE

Yet another surprise hurdle to jump. I was told that to bring my dog in I would need to hire a broker. When I contaced him he said the cost would be approx. $500. Has anyone had experience with this and does this fee sound right?
