Hey SassyPilotsWife, Bluewind and others...
WOW, I've never met you, hope I get to one day, but thanks for the Luv and support and positive feedback and saying nice things on my behalf, more for others to read, as the negatives don't really ruin my day. :-)
for what it is worth, I truly do feel bad for those that have had unfortunate experiences here, but in truth, 95% of mine have been good experiences, even life changing, in a good way.
And there are others on this forum that have emailed me personally, and while I am in the Retirement-Relocation & Real Estate Development business here, I think that many of those that emailed me for advice and help will tell you that I help 1st, and "if" what I have is appealing and someone has an interest, then I go to business discussions.
But lets face it, there is no "hard sale" when you are talking about a $100,000-$500,000 decision, so I only discuss those things with folks that want the information.
Probably 80% of folks I have spent time helping from this forum and others have not paid me a penny, and I am very happy doing it "for free", as I have met a lot of nice people. And others helped me when I was new here, so it's only right to "pass it on".
Again, thanks for the kind words all. :-)
And FYI, my post Title had a purpose, "Crisis can create Opportunity for Expats in Costa Rica" is not just words, but something for others to think about.
Every business is based on a basic concept.
1. Their is a need for a service(or product) to solve a problem.
2. People that have that problem will pay for the service/solution.
3. other people can and will develop a profitable business to provide that service and solution.
So for every problem that someone has in Costa Rica, their is a need for someone to provide a solution, and an opportunity.
So for those of you that are wondering about opportunities for work in Costa Rica (your own business), it's simple, locate and identify the problems or fears people have, and create a business here to address the need.
That's partially what I do, but there is plenty of room for others to be also providing solutions.
To quote a previous post, if you are not part of the solution...you are part of the problem. And being part of the solution will put a smile on your face, trust me :-)
Have a Great Day, and Pura Vida !
