U.S. Phone service in Costa Rica

I am moving from the U.S. to C.R. in September. Can anyone tell me what they have found to be the cheapest way to call back home from the U.S. I have heard good and bad about the magic jack. Currently I have AT&T in the states, and have been told as long as I have a U.S. address with internet service, and unlimited international calling they can send my bill to I
