Moving from Dubai to Costa Rica

My husband has been offered a Director's position with his company to transfer from Dubai to Costa Rica. He is American and I am British. We only speak very basic Spanish. What would be your advice on moving from a busy, modern country to CR? What types of jobs are there for expat women? I wouldn't want to move and not work- I am currently a senior business development manager. We are both 30 so would like some info on having young children there also as that could be a possibility in the near future. Thanks
