Visiting Playa del Coco this week to decide on moving

Hi - my husband and I arrive Tues for a 5 day due diligence trip to learn more. We are considering relocating our family, including 6 yr old and 3 yr old, for a couple years. Does anyone have info on private schools and what it's like for a family? We were also told Tamarindo has a high incidence of drugs due to surfers (eg we will be approached to buy weed on the beach a lot). Is this true? What's a great area for a family? Also is it rally humid here and how much does it really rain in the rainy season? Where can we meet other expats to get the real scoop? Thanks!!
