Hello all, I am in my early 40s and just starting to consider both Costa Rica and Panama as a place for permanent retirement. I am looking to purchase property within the next of years with the intent of using the property for extended vacations until the move becomes permanent in about 15 years or so..
Born, raised and currently live in NYC - but not a stranger to 3rd world countries at all, I would like to live in a place that has access to a town with great infrastructure at least 30 minutes away ( good hospitals, banks, supermarket, shopping, entertainment) as well as being about an hour or 90 minutes away from a beach.. Also looking to get a good value for the investment.. The problem is that all of the areas that combine important services and beach seem to be overpriced already so I am looking for places that may have good projected growth in the next couple of dec the southern end of the Nicoya peninsula is just now starting to get some real development however really far from either major airport..
Are there anades..
It seems thaty places in Costa Rica that is currently not as expensive but there is potential for growth in services in the future? What exactly is happening in the southern part of the country where the 3rd international airport is projected to be built?
