My husband and I are exploring a few areas in which to relocate. One is obviously Costa Rica. We are coming down for about 3 weeks. We were going to start in La Fortuna (4 days) then to Samara 4 days) Tamarindo for 3 days, Quepos for 5 days, and Ojochal for a couple of days.
We will be renting a car for the trip.
Am I biting off more than I can chew?
And are these good areas to visit and meet some expats so we can get a good perspective? We are from a metro area with some of the worst traffic patterns in the US, so I don't think driving will be a problem, although I expect it to be a lot slower.
Our timing will be January/Feburary 2019. Our first trip, but we have done a lot of research...although traveling to CR is the real test. We would like to rent in an area where we can meet expats and locals alike, have a tranquil location/lifestyle and still have some decent amenities. That probably sounds familiar! Advice on how to meet up with people when in the country?
Thanks for your help!
