Caribbean coast

I will be visiting the caribbean coast in June to get a feel for the area, and would like to hear from expats living in and around Puerto Viejo. This is an exploration trip for a potential relocation so I have been looking at real estate and business investment. There are several homes that have been on the market for over a year and some that have slashed down to what seems to be an incredible bargain...add to that no flights seem to be in our out of Limon currently. It makes me a little concerned for long term investment, but the prices cant be beat.
