Source of Rentista $2500

Hi,

I'm researching a move to CR with my girlfriend and our 6yo and I have some questions which I hope you might help with....

Source of $2500 income - we're in the UK and will be letting out our house which will give us some income. However this won't be $2500. We'll be able to reach/ exceed the 2500 a month by working online, and can establish that income for a period before moving to CR. Does anyone know if self employed income would be eligible? It doesn't seem like my bank would call this "permanent, stable and irrevocable"...

Does anyone have a list of the types of income which are considered solid?

We hope to start a business after a while in the country under a rentista visa.
