Uber

I would like a discussion on Uber. Uber was mentioned on previous post as a positive, and have read and heard good things about them.

I really do not sit around watching scary movies....but...am I right in saying that an Uber vehicle is basically an unmarked vehicle?

I watched one day as an ex-neighbor, who is young and very beautiful and also two good looking kids get into what she said was an Uber. It was a large SUV with tinted windows and could not see inside. Immediately, I thought - what a perfect recipe for a kidnapping. I don't care if it is in Costa Rica or whatever country - a LOT of that is going on. People and children disappearing all the time, in the News. I hate to spell it out - but for sex trafficking and also selling of body organs which is high profit business.

I understand this is a creepy subject. And I realize this could happen under other circumstances. And I have never heard anybody express concern.

Is Uber really that much cheaper?? Have also heard how 'convenient' it is. Can use a debit card. Another item I don't want grabbed. Is it worth the few extra centimos you might save?

Our world is becoming more evil all the time. And I do not watch or read the news every day, but....and an Uber was not involved with Ryan Piercy, but anyone being here long enough knows what I am talking about.

I for one, will never use Uber. No one has ever warned me not to. It's what some would say, a strong feeling in the pit of my stomach, or an inner voice that says - NOT a good idea.
