I am in the early stages of research for moving to Costa Rica. Our search seems to be narrowing down to the south Pacific area (Dominical, Uvita, Ojochal). I am curious about any customs associated with real estate negotiations in Costa Rica in general, or any specific to this area. i.e. are prices typically "firm" or negotiable, and if negotiable any insights into making an offer without offending the seller?
