We are new here. Hello everyone! My wife and I are looking for a change of speed from the "rat race" we feel overwhelmed by here in the US. Here's our idea. Let's move away somewhere for 6 months and reevaluate life after. We would love to get some feedback on a couple of things. We notice the initial thing to figure out is where we would like to live. What we are wanting is to be somewhere family friendly where we can immerse ourselves and learn Spanish. We have a 12 year old and a 10 year old that we have to consider, so school is important. They are also active in soccer, volleyball, basketball and piano. Are there specific communities/areas we should be looking at initially? Clearly, we have more questions. We are hoping to connect with some families and resources who are either in our shoes or have been in our shoes.
