Hello,
David and Benedicte here… We are very interested in retiring in Costa Rica and are looking for contacts that we can exchange information about life in Costa Rica. We live in the San Francisco bay area and will be in Costa Rica in October. We would like to know how you established yourself (living accommodation, rent/buy, realtors, transportation, auto purchasing, medical care, activities, food, culture, life!) in Costa Rica and why you chose your spot to settle in paradise. We’re looking for all types of feedback, practical tips/stories, the plus and minus of life there and would appreciate your insight on the country.
Please let us know if we can contact you and to get an informational exchange going!
Thanks

Dear guys, you will find Grecia is very welcome an has a supportive community. Ser La Luz is a retreat and Yoga center you might find it helpful. There is a site called retire for less in Costa Rica I think its full of a lot useful info. You can look for rentals at greciarealestate.net that site also has a lot of useful info for visitors.Good luck. Let me know if You like someone to help fill in the missing info. I used to live in Marin for 30 years and I have been here for 7. John
