I am a single retired software management consultant, a US citizen and Indian by birth. I intend to explore the possibilities of relocating to Costa Rica in near future. I currently have a small business dealing in Indian ethnic handmade articles like, hand bags & fashion apparels & accessories. This is mainly to keep myself occupied.
I plan on traveling to Costa Rica in the fourth week of November or so to explore various places and to see the likelihood of an opportunity to live in this beautiful country which has drawn me towards it.
I look forward to initiating any guidance communications with folks who may have some valuable inputs for me.
Moving to different country has its own challenges, so I have some Initial queries mentioned below:
1. As I don’t intend to rent a car during this trip, can someone suggest reliable local tour operators in San Jose for me to familiarize myself with different interesting places from a residency / small business standpoint in the country?
2. I would like to start a small handicraft retail store to keep myself occupied.
3. Initially I am more inclined to rent a residence before making any firm purchase commitments.
I look forward to participate actively in the expat community and this forum.
Thanks
