Schooling - Correspondence School

Hello,

Does anyone use a correspondence school from your home country to teach your kids? If so, is it considered a legitimate source for school to satisfy the Costa Rican rules that all kids must have formal education? I know that homeschooling isn’t exactly legal in Costa Rica, but there are homeschooling groups around the country. This seems to be a bit different in that New Zealand has a national correspondence school where they follow the NZ curriculum. Thank you!
