We are hoping to spend a lot of time traveling the coast to see where we would like to land. We have been to Las Catalinas and Tamarindo.
Las Catalinas is beautiful but way out of budget. Additionally, we are not so interested in a community that draws so much tourism. My sister has a house there so we know it well. However, love that beach.
Tamarindo is too hustle and bustle for us and also attracts quite a few tourists. We would prefer a more quiet place.
Ultimately, the wish list is a beachfront property that we could live in and maybe needs a bit of fixing up. We are not wealthy. We would like to learn how to surf but don't have to live on a surfing beach. The goal is to use the home for vacations and then move once we are empty nested.
We really love the CR people.
