I'm here for the month and I hear there are expats -- anybody out there wanna have a drink, share war stories, or just direct me to where I might find some EPs? Just came in from Quito, where there weren't many.

Good afternoon!

There are many expats in Salinas. You can find them at Luv n Oven on the Malecon, Cafe Jazz in the mornings behind Coco's Hostal on the Malecon, Jhimmy's restaurant on third avenue one and a half blocks before the Salinas pier, Common Grounds restaurant by the San Lorenzo Church. Lots of places you will find us. I would be more than happy to meet up with you also. I remember what it was like when I came to Salinas in 2009.. My number is 098.621.2688 or 312.985.7703. You can WhatsApp me on the first number or email me at kimberly@ieiecuador.net. Have a great time here!!

Go see Kimberly. She knows everybody there and is just a wonderful person to get to know. We were there briefly in August and she took the time to meet us even after a long day of work for her. We feel like we have known her all our lives, and if/when we move to Ecuador permanently, it will probably be to Salinas because we felt so comfortable there with Kimberly. She's simply the best.

Have the soft-serve coconut ice cream on the Malecon -- oh how I miss it already!
