Moving to Cairo -- would you be a friend?

Hi, my name is Anisa. I am a 31 year old woman living in Canada. I was born and raised, and currently living in, Calgary, Alberta (in Canada). I was born muslim. I have both muslim and non-muslim relatives and friends.

I would like to meet some friends via this forum. It does not matter to me if you are an ex-patriot or a national. In fact, even if you do not live in Egypt, but are intending to, I would like to talk with you.

Here is some more information about myself:
I married an Egyptian who has dual citizenship. We are likely to move to Cairo within a few years. I have three young children, ages 4, 2 and 1. Yes, quite a handful. I do not speak Arabic, but will be spending considerable time studying starting next month. I visited Cairo briefly four years ago for about a month, it was, overall, a great experience.

I picked up a degree in Education from the University of Alberta. I have a background in working in various types of libraries, from corporate to public. Right now I am a stay-at-home mom, although I am trying to make plans for the future in terms of returning to work (if I return to work!), which may be in a few years.

Calgary is a stunning city, it is growing incredibly. We are close to the Rocky Mountains.
