Just introducing myself

Hello, I'm just writing to introduce myself. Not an expat here but this is my story.
I am Egyptian but I attended high school and college in the US, and moved back to Egypt a while ago for work.
Five months ago, I got married to an American Egyptian. She was born in the US (Florida) and has lived her whole life there. And when we got married 5 months ago, she moved to live here with me in Egypt for the first time in her life.

Of course the change for her (like many others) was (and still is) a drastic one. She left her parents and her sister who are in the US to be here in Egypt with me.
Obviously, there are good days and there are bad days, she is incredible and she is doing her very best to be absoloutely strong, and I am trying to support her as much as I can. Its difficult though because there are many times when cannot see things from her point of view. My whole family is around us, and I am involved in a family business that may cause me to stay late at work and be focused on other things. Sometimes I feel that all she has here is me, so I do my best to always be there for her.
I joined this group with the hopes of meeting others who may be in similar situations such as my wife and maybe they can help me understand things better from her (their) point of view, possibly may even provide us with a chance for her to meet people who are like her and maybe things can become a little easier on her.
