Greek-American Teacher in Greece

Hi! I am Greek (born there) but moved to the United States when I was 9 and lived here since then. I am a high school teacher here in NYC and I teach History.

I would like to move to Greece in Sept. of 2008. I am interested in getting a teaching position there. Now, I know working in the Greek public schools is out of the question but I would like to teach, perhaps, in an INternational or AMerican school. I would prefer to teach history- but even if its english I would be OK with it.

There are several American or English speaking schools in Greece, is getting hired a possibility? I meet all of their requirements (I have taught 3 yrs in NY, have a masters in Social Studies teaching, etc.)

Also, what are the salaries like in private schools like these?

(I do own an apartment in Athens so that helps.)
