Medical insurance is with Interteach: http://www.interteach.kz/
I cannot help with the temporary address. My visa is still valid and I plan to renew it within Kazakhstan. Try contacting Ms. Assem Zhakupova" manager of the Administrative division of
AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools', (). She was the point of contact on my letter of invitation. However, staff change so I cannot guarantee that this route will be fruitful. Good luck!

Hi
All you need to put down for your visa is the address of the school.
That's what I had to put and gad I problems.
Good luck and welcome to the NIS international family.
Kim

Thank you, Kim! This has been an experience just to get there but I really believe it will be worth it in the long run. What city are you in? I'll be in Semey.

Hi,
I am at NIS uralsk, west kaz. The visa saga is known known to most of us and Yes all the hassle is worth it.
Most Internationals are on summer vacation ATM but are starting to return. I am Australian and there is no embassy for kaz here and had to deal with Singapore. I return next week.
Again welcome !!
Kim

NIS Semey here I come!! You all have been such a help that I wanted to ask a few last questions. Is there anything that you may have overlooked in packing but wish you didn't? Is there anything that you would strongly suggest I get before I get there?

Thanks again, Leslie

Hi Lesley exciting times!!
Just a few pearls of wisdom. Of course I don't know about your area, but in uralsk......
Travel with either euro or US $$
Sheets are small and expensive. (King single on a double)
Spices. Ie curry powder - not available.
Netflix - all tv is in Russian or kazakh.
Google translate and word lens on phone.
You can buy just about all western brand toiletries.
I can't think of anything else now but if I do I'll post it for you
For me it has been one if the best things I have done and I love it!!! I hope it is the same for you.
Kim.
