i love costambar, it's a place

look at their site which is www.costambar.org. I spent the last 2 winters there and it was great. costambar is on the beach near Puerto plata Dominican republic. it is a gated community that has hotels, restaurants with American/euro menus, apartments, stores, etc. check out the site
