What is it like to retire in Albania?

"Life for a retiree in Albania and its surroundings can be quite enjoyable. There is an active expat community in the area, with many retirees from other countries living in the region. There are plenty of cultural attractions to explore, such as the ancient ruins of Butrint, the Ottoman-era city of Gjirokastra, and the stunning beaches of the Albanian Riviera. For recreation, retirees can enjoy the many outdoor activities available in the area, such as hiking, biking, and swimming. There is also a vibrant nightlife scene in the larger cities, with plenty of bars, clubs, and restaurants to explore," said one retiree in Albania.
