The cost of living in Burgas is relatively low compared to other European cities, making it an attractive destination for expats. The city is well connected to other parts of Bulgaria and Europe by air, rail, and road. Expats should also be aware that the climate in Burgas is generally mild, with hot summers and cold winters. Finally, expats should be aware that the healthcare system in Bulgaria is generally good, but it is important to have private health insurance in case of any medical emergencies," remarked one expat who made the move to Burgas.
