"The cost of living in Pai is relatively low compared to other tourist destinations in the country. Accommodation options range from budget-friendly hostels to mid-range hotels, with affordable prices for both short-term and long-term stays. Eating out at local restaurants and street food stalls is inexpensive, and you can enjoy delicious Thai dishes for just a few dollars. Transportation within the town is also affordable, with motorbike rentals and tuk-tuks being the most common options. Groceries and fresh produce from local markets are reasonably priced, making it easy to cook at home if you prefer. Overall, Pai offers a comfortable and budget-friendly lifestyle for both travelers and expats," explained one expat.
