Generally, the cost of renting an apartment in Alexandria is relatively affordable compared to other cities in Egypt. Prices range from around 500 Egyptian Pounds (EGP) per month for a basic studio apartment to around 3,000 EGP per month for a larger, more luxurious apartment," said one expat in Alexandria.

"The cost of renting a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Alexandria, varies depending on location, size and amenities. Generally, however, one can expect to pay around $550 - $800 per month for a comfortable and conveniently located apartment. For a nice 2 bedroom unit, the cost usually starts at around $700 and can reach up to $1,200 depending on the features and location," said one expat living in Alexandria.

"In Alexandria, many rental homes typically come with appliances such as a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a stove or oven. In addition, some rental properties may also include air conditioning units and even a water heater.
