"The cost of housing in Salmiya can vary greatly depending on the size and location of the property. Generally, the average cost of renting an apartment in Salmiya is quite high, with prices ranging from around 500 Kuwaiti Dinar (KD) per month for a studio apartment to over 1,000 KD per month for a larger apartment. Buying a property in Salmiya can be even more expensive, with prices ranging from around 1,500 KD per square meter for an older property to over 3,000 KD per square meter for a newer property," said one person in Salmiya.

"The rental price for a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Salmiya can range from around $500 to $1,000 per month, depending on the size and amenities of the apartment. For a nice 2 bedroom apartment, the rental price can range from around $800 to $1,500 per month, again depending on the size and amenities of the apartment," commented one expat who moved to Salmiya.
