What is it like to retire in Dongguang?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees what it is like retiring in Dongguang. They said...

"Dongguan is a major hub of economic activity in Guangdong Province, and as such there is a significant number of expats living and working in the area. It provides a great environment for retirees as well, with many cultural attractions and forms of recreation and entertainment available. Visiting some of the local attractions is a great way to experience the culture, such as the dumpling culture museum, eastern Chinese teahouses, and various temples and pagodas. Additionally, there are several parks and green spaces that are great for relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As for recreation, retirees can take advantage of sports centers, golf courses and fitness centers, or if they prefer, there are plenty of places to enjoy traditional Chinese activities and cuisine. There is also a lively nightlife scene in Dongguan, with plenty of bars, live music venues and nightclubs providing entertainment for those looking for it. In short, there are plenty of opportunities for retirees in Dongguan to stay active and connected with their local community," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Dongguang, China, China.
