The healthcare system in Constanta is highly developed and includes a variety of specialties and medical treatments. The public sector is managed by the Health Protection Agency and offers a wide range of services, such as general medical treatments, clinical specializations and hospital services. Private healthcare providers offer high-level services, such as specialized medical treatments, laboratories and advanced diagnosis facilities. Constanta has excellent emergency services and a wide range of medical specialists, including well-trained general practitioners, cardiologists, surgeons, gynaecologists, paediatricians and many others. All key medical services are offered by private and public healthcare providers, and the quality of care is quite high," remarked another expat who made the move to Constanta, Romania.
