Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Constanta if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Yes, there are a good number of medical specialists in Constanta. The city has several hospitals and clinics that offer specialized medical care, such as the Constanta County Clinical Hospital, Ovidius Clinical Hospital, and the MedEuropa Hospital. However, for highly specialized medical care, some patients may choose to travel to larger cities like Bucharest, where there are more advanced medical facilities and a wider range of specialists available. Additionally, some patients may seek treatment abroad in countries with well-known healthcare systems, such as Germany or France, for highly specialized care," explained one expat living in Constanta, Romania.
